Tai Chi Chuan Is first and foremost a martial art.

As history reveals it was developed by Chang San Fen who combined martial art technique with internal power development to create an extremely potent martial art.

    INNER BALANCE
The Yang style was founded by Yang Lu Chan, and successive generations of the Yang family, most notably Yang Chen Fu in the 1920s was responsible for modifying the old Yang form because he noted the health benefits that could be gained by its practice, so he removed the explosive strikes and flying kicks to make it more accessible to the Chinese population, and so it became the most widely practised style of Tai Chi today.
There are many health benefits to be gained by the regular practice of Tai Chi and Chi Kung and because of its gentle nature in internal aerobics creating external fitness it is accessible to all ages and conditions.

The many proven beneficial effects on a number of conditions such as:

You will learn at your own pace, and will enjoy relaxed teaching methods, in a relaxed atmosphere. We start with Chi Kung then proceed to gentle exercises then we will begin learning the form... all postures will be tested for structure and balance before moving on to the next one.
